A warm, creamy, and cheesy dip flavored with roasted garlic and Italian herbs, perfect for serving with crusty bread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 4 cloves garlic, roasted and mashed
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a small oven-safe baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, sour cream, roasted garlic, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are fully incorporated and smooth.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese over the top of the dip.
  5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dip is hot throughout and the top is lightly golden brown.
  6. Serve immediately with sliced baguette or breadsticks.

Notes

  • Roast garlic by wrapping whole heads in foil with a drizzle of olive oil and baking at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 to 40 minutes until soft.
  • You can prepare the dip mixture up to one day ahead and store it covered in the refrigerator before baking.
  • For extra flavor, stir in 2 tablespoons of finely chopped fresh parsley before baking.
