- 1/4 cup chia seeds
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Combine the chia seeds, almond milk, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt in a jar or bowl.
- Stir the mixture well for about one minute to prevent the chia seeds from clumping at the bottom.
- Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes, then stir again thoroughly.
- Cover the container and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, until the pudding thickens to your desired consistency.
- Stir before serving and add your preferred toppings.
Notes
- For a richer chocolate flavor, use raw cacao powder instead of standard cocoa powder.
- If the pudding is too thick after refrigeration, stir in a small splash of extra almond milk until you reach the right texture.
- Adjust the maple syrup amount based on your sweetness preference.
