You need this classic, creamy Neiman Marcus Dip, often called Million Dollar Dip, for your next party. It combines cheese, bacon, and almonds into a simple, savory spread that is ready fast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crumbled cooked bacon
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds, toasted
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and mayonnaise. Mix until the texture is smooth and fully combined.
  2. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until it is evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  3. Fold in the crumbled cooked bacon and half of the chopped green onions. Mix gently to incorporate the ingredients without crushing the bacon too much.
  4. Transfer the dip mixture to a serving bowl.
  5. Cover the bowl and chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. This step is important for the best taste.
  6. Before serving, sprinkle the remaining green onions and the toasted sliced almonds over the top of the dip for garnish and crunch.
  7. Serve your Neiman Marcus Dip cold with crackers, tortilla chips, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

  • To toast the almonds, spread them in a dry skillet over medium heat. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring often, until fragrant and lightly browned. Watch them closely as they burn quickly.
  • You can make this dip ahead of time. Prepare it completely, cover it, and keep it refrigerated for up to 2 days. Add the garnish right before serving.
  • If you prefer a tangier flavor, substitute half of the mayonnaise with sour cream.
