  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Combine the olive oil, lemon juice, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, onion powder, oregano, pepper, and salt in a medium bowl.
  2. Whisk the ingredients together until they are fully mixed.
  3. Place 1.5 to 2 pounds of chicken (breasts or thighs) into a large resealable plastic bag or shallow dish.
  4. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are coated.
  5. Seal the bag or cover the dish.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 8 hours, for best results.
  7. Remove chicken from the marinade before cooking; discard the remaining liquid.
