Make these simple, crowd-pleasing grape jelly meatballs in your slow cooker for an impressive holiday appetizer with a perfect sweet and savory flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (32 ounce) bag frozen pre-cooked meatballs
  • 1 (12 ounce) jar grape jelly
  • 1 (18 ounce) bottle chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Place the frozen meatballs into the basin of your slow cooker.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the grape jelly, chili sauce, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth. This is your simple sauce base.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture evenly over the meatballs in the slow cooker.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 3 to 4 hours, or on HIGH for 1.5 to 2 hours, stirring gently halfway through cooking.
  5. When the meatballs are heated through and the sauce is bubbly, serve directly from the slow cooker with toothpicks for easy grabbing at your holiday party.

Notes

  • For an extra kick, add 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the sauce mixture before cooking.
  • If you want to make this recipe ahead of time, you can prepare the sauce and store it in the refrigerator for up to three days. Add the sauce to the meatballs just before cooking.
  • If you are serving a large crowd, double the recipe and use a larger slow cooker.
