- 12 ounces egg noodles
- 2 cans (5 ounces each) tuna in water, drained
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
- Cook the egg noodles according to package directions until tender. Drain the noodles well.
- In a large bowl, combine the drained tuna, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and frozen peas. Mix until everything is well combined.
- Fold the cooked noodles into the tuna mixture. Pour this mixture into your prepared baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with the melted butter. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the top of the casserole.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove the casserole from the oven and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
- Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving your easy tuna casserole.
Notes
