A simple, cold dip made with cream cheese, sour cream, and chopped dill pickles.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped dill pickles
  • 2 tablespoons pickle juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese in a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Add the sour cream, chopped dill pickles, pickle juice, dried dill weed, garlic powder, and black pepper to the bowl.
  3. Use an electric mixer or a sturdy spoon to beat the ingredients together until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  4. Taste the dip and add more pickle juice or seasoning if desired.
  5. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the dip for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve cold with potato chips, crackers, or vegetable sticks.

Notes

  • For a tangier flavor, substitute half of the sour cream with plain Greek yogurt.
  • If you want a ranch flavor, add 1 tablespoon of dry ranch seasoning mix.
  • Chop the pickles very finely for the best texture.
