A simple recipe for tender, flavorful chicken baked with Ranch seasoning.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet (1 oz) dry Ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the dry Ranch seasoning mix, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, and olive oil. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  4. Place the chicken in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Spread the Ranch mixture evenly over the top of each chicken breast, coating completely.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  7. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra moisture, you can briefly soak the chicken in 1/4 cup of buttermilk for 15 minutes before applying the coating.
  • If you prefer a crispier top, place the baking dish under the broiler for the last 1-2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
  • This recipe works well with chicken thighs; increase the baking time by 5-10 minutes.
