Ingredients
Scale
1 pound salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to your spice preference)
1 teaspoon lime juice
1/2 teaspoon honey or maple syrup
Instructions
Prepare the salmon: In a medium bowl, toss the salmon cubes with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
Arrange the seasoned salmon cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd the basket; work in batches if necessary to ensure crispiness.
Air fry for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping the bites halfway through the cooking time, until the salmon is opaque and slightly crispy on the outside.
Prepare the Bang Bang Sauce: While the salmon cooks, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, lime juice, and honey or maple syrup in a small bowl until smooth.
Remove the cooked salmon bites from the air fryer.
Serve the hot salmon bites immediately with the creamy Bang Bang sauce for dipping.
Notes
For extra crispiness, lightly spray the salmon cubes with cooking spray just before placing them in the air fryer.
If you prefer a thicker sauce, chill the sauce for 15 minutes before serving.
You can substitute shrimp for salmon if desired, adjusting the cook time slightly.
These bites pair well served over white rice or alongside steamed broccoli.
